Small Steam Turbine Generators

Small Steam Turbine Generators

Steam Turbine (Source: AirClean)

AirClean Energy steam turbine generators are a compact, efficient power system that can be used in either:

  • PRVs - generate electricity from pressure energy previously wasted in the steam pressure reducing valves of buildings or industrial plant (e.g. augmenting an existing pressure reducing valve), or
  • Waste-to-Energy - be utilised on steam raised in a waste-to-energy system using gaseous waste heat or waste steam,
  • Biomass - integrate with a biomass boiler and our Organic Rankine Cycle systems in a small biomass power plant.

This system is compact and produces up to 10 MW of electrical power. The system is skid-mounted, with controls and switchgear connected at the factory. It is completely automatic, enabling unattended operation.
